Book GoH Makes a Comeback

Åcon 2 has a book Guest of Honour. Our choice for a book that’s singled out for praise and examination is Dan Simmons’s Hyperion (which was also the book GoH of Åcon 1, but got sidetracked due to a scheduling snafu). So this might be a good time to read (or re-read to refresh your memory) the book in time for May!

Transportation from Helsinki to Turku

We’re thinking of arranging a group to travel by train from Helsinki to Turku in the morning of May 1 (and back on Sunday). If enough people attend that, we can get a group discount from VR.
